When and why you decide to follow the art path?

Before I devoted myself to painting, I worked in the financial sector – the stock market, investment companies and financial consulting. However, at the age of 36, I made a sharp turn in my career. In 2015, while living in the USA, I turned to painting professionally. Having no traditional art education and feeling the need to master basic skills, he takes private painting lessons from Jacob Scott Crumb, an abstract artist, Seattle, Washington, from Rich Thibodeau, Kansas, who was a student of the Mexican artist Alfredo Salсe, the associate of Diego Rivera.

How was the process to conquer and define your style?

English:

The process of forming my style in painting is intuitive. In the initial stages, I paid a lot of attention to the volume of the image, the early canvases are pasty and multi-layered.

My works today are characterized by a more subtle and tenacious writing style, now the emphasis is shifted towards bringing recognizable images, lines and figures into an irrational plot. And in between creating my worlds, I’m happy to return to writing pure abstractions – it acts as a way to reboot, update.

Процесс формирование моего стиля в живописи происходит интуитивно. На начальных этапах я уделяла много внимания объему изображения, ранние полотна пастозны и многослойны.

Со временем я стала отходить от этой техники в сторону экспрессивного фигуратива. Мои работы сегодня характеризуются более тонким и цепким стилем письма, теперь акцент  смещен в сторону сведения узнаваемых образов, линий и фигур в иррациональный сюжет. Это приглашение к путешествию по лабиринтам собственного подсознания, где фантазийная реальность бросает вызов логике. И в перерывах между созданием моих миров, я с удовольствием возвращаюсь к написанию чистых абстракций – это действует как способ перезагрузки, обновления

El proceso de formación de mi estilo pictórico es intuitivo. En las etapas iniciales prestaba mucha atención al volumen de la imagen, mis primeros lienzos eran pastosos y multicapa.

Con el tiempo, empecé a alejarme de esta técnica y me incliné hacia el figurativo expresivo. Mis obras actuales se caracterizan por un estilo más sutil y pegajoso, ahora el acento se desplaza hacia la combinación de imágenes, líneas y figuras reconocibles en una trama irracional. Whom authors were your inspirational base for develop your Technik

I have my favorite artists whose paintings have resonated deeply with me for a long time. However, there is no direct correlation between their style and my painting. I really love Kandinsky, Bacon, Matisse, Picasso, Schiele, Munch, Van Gogh, Chagall.. I also like the aesthetics of Marianna Verevkina and Konstantin Istomin. I always find inspiration and many layers of meaning in paintings by Bosch, Jan Van Eyck, and Vermeer. Philosophically, I rely most heavily on Kandinsky.

English:

I plan to focus on creating portraits that will engage in dialogue with the viewer’s subconscious mind – images that are not identical to reality, but have recognizable touches, hints and references. In an up-to-date way, speaking the language of modernity with the public, encouraging them to feel and think.
