Los caminos/The roads

Un camino comienza
con un paso
con una mirada
con un impulso.

A veces sensato
otras veces desesperado
ese primer movimiento
puede ser santo o destructivo.

Los caminos pueden ser dados
o pueden ser construidos,
si de otros nos viene, lo seguimos,
a veces sin pensar,
otras veces lo armamos, piedra tras piedra,
paso tras paso, hacia adelante.

En ocasiones podemos retroceder
otras veces nos volcamos a la meta.
Los caminos son sabios y muchos
han sido andados, otros son inusuales
o novedosos, pero son caminos al fin.

Camina tu vida y camina la existencia
busca un camino tuyo
consigue andar y no tengas miedo.
Los caminos son para caminarlos,
anda, ve, camina tu ser, camina el mundo.

A journey begins
with a step,
with a glance,
with an impulse.

Sometimes sensible,
other times desperate,
that first move
can be sacred or destructive.

Paths may be given
or they may be built,
if they come from others, we follow them,
sometimes without thinking,
other times we build them, stone by stone,
step by step, moving forward.

Sometimes we may take a step back
other times we throw ourselves toward the goal.
Paths are wise, and many
have been walked; others are unusual
or novel, but they are paths after all.

Walk your life and walk through existence;
find a path of your own;
get moving and do not be afraid.
Paths are meant to be walked;
walk, go, walk your being, walk the world.
